Advanced Classes Signup

Advanced trapping classes are put on solely by the North Carolina Trappers Association.

As dates are scheduled they will be added here. Past class topics have included:

Fur Handling tailored towards the participants species wishes

Coyote Workshops which focus solely on this illusive critter.

Advanced Beaver workshop, focusing on their biology, behavior, processing & next level sets

The NCTA Board of Directors approved moving forward with the advanced workshops but all instructors and attendees will be required to follow the governor's executive orders and CDC guidelines.  Everyone will need to remember to bring/wear masks and maintain the 6 feet of social distancing.  If more than 10 register, the workshop will be broken into smaller groups to stay within the governor's executive orders for social gatherings.

The NCWRC has exempted WCA's from the recertification requirement due to Covid-19 so if you were planning on attending to be recertified that requirement has been waived for anyone's certification that expires in 2020.  The NCTA Board of Directors also made the decision that if anyone decides they do not want to attend after registering, a "voucher" to attend a future NCTA workshop within a (24) month period or a refund of 50% of the amount of funds the NCTA received will be granted.  This also applies to anyone who is not feeling well or gets sick prior to the workshop.  If you have a fever the day of the workshop, stay home and do not attend.

Thank you for your cooperation during these unprecedented times.  Stay safe everyone.
